   What if you came up with your own stuff and sold that? That would be cool. Then I wouldn't think poorly of you. Maybe you could contact my friends and ask permission to use their material, you know, _before_ you actually use their work.

   We've removed the "buy now" link from the site while we work out the opt-in features. All shirts will be able to be created, but the author will need to approve a shirt to go for sale. More on that here:

   Give the twitter user that posted the content a kickback, maybe $1 of the $19 that is being charged per shirt.

   You could probably set it so that you only cut the check when it get to x amount.

   The risks of course are the affiliate tax tracking stuff, especially for US citizens.

   Do they opt in for it? Notify the user when x amounts of content has been used via auto tweet.
   From there, they could either decide to give you the legal info for payout as other affiliate ventures require (social and such for taxes) or maybe they could even opt out and pick a charity to donate the money to instead of getting a check. You could probably even say if it is a charity, you could match the donation making it $2 per shirt sold.

   Just a thought. Nifty idea!

   Provide an opt-in mechanism for tweet authors

   There is nothing wrong with the basic idea, so long as the content creators are ok with the idea and the terms. This protects everyone, and respects everyone.
